QR check-in at the entrance and poker room
A screen shows a code that renews itself regularly. Players scan it with the app, and the waitlist knows who is in the house.
How it works
How check-in works
1. Show the code
A TV or monitor with a browser shows the code for the entrance, the poker room or the VIP area.
2. Scan
The player scans the code with the Fortuna app and is checked in.
3. Use the attendance
For the set duration the player counts as present, and the waitlist and floorman see it.
4. Check out
The check-in ends automatically, and before checking in at another casino the player checks out.

Check-in by your rules
You set in the dashboard which codes exist, how often they change and how long a check-in is valid.
Three code types
Main entrance, poker room and VIP area are switched on individually, each area with its own code.
Rotation interval
The code renews every 15 minutes to 24 hours, so a forwarded photo quickly becomes invalid.
Validity and repeat check-ins
A check-in is valid for 4 to 48 hours, several per day are allowed with a minimum gap of up to 8 hours.
Check-in before sign-up
If you want, only checked-in players can sign up for games.
Logo and colour
Optional: your casino logo in the centre of the code, with your own background colour if you like.
Manual check-in
Staff can also check players in by hand, for example when a phone battery is empty.

Questions and answers
What hardware do we need for the QR display?
A TV, monitor or terminal with a browser and internet access. The display opens a fixed address of your casino and shows the new code by itself, without anyone reloading the page.
Can a player photograph the code and send it on?
With rotation, Fortuna replaces the code at the chosen interval, and older codes are no longer valid. Entrance, poker room and VIP area have separate codes. Without automatic rotation, you decide how long a code is valid and renew it in the dashboard when needed.
What if a guest does not have their phone?
Then staff check them in by hand. The floorman adds guests without the app as manual players to the waitlist and seating plan.
How long is a check-in valid?
As long as you decide: 4, 8, 12, 24 or 48 hours. After that the check-in ends automatically. If you allow repeat check-ins, a player can check in again on the same day, optionally only after a minimum gap of 1 to 8 hours.
Can we make check-in mandatory?
Yes. With the setting “Check-in Required for Registration”, only players who have checked in on site can sign up for games. The waitlist then only lists guests who are actually in the house.
